Day 01: AIRPORT /KANDY

Kandy is a major city in Sri Lanka, located in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It is the second largest city in the country after Colombo. It was the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka.Kandywas the last capital of Sinhala Kings. The valley of Kandy is surrounded by magnificent hills which made it as the last bastion. Today Kandy offers its visitors rich collection of art and craft and historical buildings. It includes a collection of ancient temples buildings, handicrafts, souvenirs, bazaar and gem museum.

Day 02: KANDY CITY TOUR

To see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Clients will be able to see different spices and how some of these spices are grown and processed. Witness a Cookery demonstration as well.

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relicis a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha.

Witness a cultural show in the evening. (Kandyan dance) Before heading back to your hotel for dinner.

Kandyan dance encompasses various dance forms native to the area called Kandy of the central hills region in Sri Lanka. But today it has been widespread to other parts of the country. The dancers wear an elaborate costume including a headdress. The dancer's chest is only covered by a decorative beaded net. This costume is known as the “Ves” costume. The headdress incorporates a metallic front which makes the dancer look tallerthan he is. The complete costume also includes anklets that produce a metallic rattle each.

Day 03: KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA(THE LITTLE ENGLAND)/CITY TOUR

Visit Ramboda Falls

Ramboda Falls is 109m high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. Altitude of the falls is 945m above sea level.

Visit Sri Lankan Tea Plantations & Factories- Tea was first planted in Sri Lanka in 1824 at the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, when a few plants were brought from China. More were introduced from Assam in 1839. In 1867, a Scottish Planter named James Taylor planted tea seedlings on 8 hectares of forest land, in the Loolkandura Estate. In 1873, the tea export industry of Sri Lanka began with a modest 23lbs being shipped to London. Tea will grow only on rolling terrain and is classified be elevation into low grown, medium, grown, high grown into 3 main groups.

Visit Ambewela Farm and New Zealand Farm

A farm of a famous brand in Sri Lanka - Ambewala. Wonderful scenic views of the beautiful hills in Nuwara Eliya - as you walk towards the farm. You'd probably spend an hour or so (with a stop at the cafe), but can easily cover the farm in less time.Ambewela is a small town or a hill station in Nuwera Eliya. It’s also a well-known dairy company. The climatic conditions in Ambewela make it a suitable location for dairy farming. This area is also sometimes called the ‘Little NewZealand’. Ambewela farms are made up of two farms, Ambewela Farm and New Zealand Farm. Because of the

perfect climate in the hill country, it boasts its superior breed of cattle, modern technology and top quality pastures where cattle graze freely. The farms have purebred cattle from Ayreshire and New Zealand. In order to maintain the quality of milk from the cows, the farm management takes great care to provide them with a balanced diet and sterilized water. They are also given excellent healthcare on a 24-hour basis. The largest grasslands of Sri Lanka are also a part of the Ambewela farms. In addition to the cattle, it has rabbits, pigs and goats.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13 km (8.1 miles) northwest of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. In 2015, there were 88 elephants, including 37 males and 51 females from 3 generations, living in Pinnawala.

Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque Jami-Ul-Alfar Mosque is a historic mosque in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is located on Second Cross Street in Pettah. The mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Colombo and a popular tourist site in the city.

Viharamahadevi Park The Viharamahadevi Park is a public park located in Colombo, next to the National Museum in Sri Lanka. It is the oldest and largest park of the Port of Colombo.

Galle Face The Galle Face is a 5 ha ocean-side urban park, which stretches for 500 m along the coast, in the heart of the financial and business capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo.

National Museum National Museum of Colombo, also known as the Sri Lanka National Museum is one of two museums in Colombo. It is the largest museum in Sri Lanka. It is maintained by the Department of National Museum of the central government.

Pettah Floating Markets The Pettah Floating Markets are located on Bastian Mawatha in Pettah, a neighborhood in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and consist of 92 trade stalls, with a number of the stalls established on boats on Beira Lake.
